Sham Heffernan – professional musician
Seamus Heffernan (better known as Sham) is a professional musician and sound engineer with an impressive track record.Regular bass player, guitarist and singer, Sham has played in rock bands, as a solo performer and in ceilidh bands, across the region. Sham also manages sound and lighting at several UK folk festivals including Sidmouth, Towersey and Fylde. He is a regular contributor to BBC Radio Lancashire’s weekly folk music programme The Drift. He holds a teacher’s certificate and has taught music technology–based courses at Preston and Runshaw F.E. Colleges.
